iPhone client for Hermes Agent
Talaria Support
Talaria connects an iPhone to a compatible Hermes Agent gateway. It does not provide a hosted AI account or gateway.
Requirements
- An iPhone running iOS 18 or later.
- A compatible Hermes Agent gateway.
- An HTTPS gateway URL, except for localhost development.
- A valid gateway username and password.
- Network access from the iPhone to the gateway.
Add a gateway
- Open Talaria and tap Add Gateway.
- Enter a name, the HTTPS gateway URL, username, and password.
- Optionally enter a preferred provider and model.
- Tap Save, then select the gateway.
Passwords are stored in the iOS Keychain. Talaria does not create a separate publisher account.
Connection troubleshooting
- Confirm the gateway is reachable from the same iPhone.
- Confirm its TLS certificate is valid and trusted.
- Confirm the username and password work at the gateway.
- If the gateway is private, connect the iPhone to the required private network before opening Talaria.
- Use Reconnect after restoring network access.
Voice
Talaria requests microphone and speech-recognition permission when voice is used. Apple on-device recognition is the default.
Kokoro speech synthesis requires an optional one-time download of approximately 342 MB. Experimental Whisper recognition requires an additional model download of approximately 626 MB. Use Wi-Fi and ensure sufficient device storage before starting either download.
Remove saved access
Delete a gateway from the gateway list to remove its saved profile and Keychain credential. Delete profiles before uninstalling Talaria when you also want their saved Keychain credentials removed.
