Talaria Privacy Policy
Talaria connects to a Hermes Agent gateway selected and configured by the user. Talaria has no automatic connection to a publisher service, and the Talaria publisher does not collect data from the app.
Information stored on the device
Talaria stores gateway profile settings, voice preferences, and downloaded speech-model files in the app's local container. Gateway passwords are stored in the iOS Keychain. These values are used only to provide app functionality.
Deleting a gateway profile removes its saved credential. Deleting the app removes its app-container data; users should remove gateway profiles before uninstalling when they also want the corresponding Keychain credentials deleted.
Information sent to a gateway
When a user connects to a Hermes gateway, Talaria sends the gateway username, password, messages, commands, and interaction responses directly to that gateway. Conversation responses and tool activity are returned by the same gateway.
The gateway operator determines how gateway data is processed, stored, and deleted. A gateway may be operated by the user, the Talaria publisher, or another party. Users should review that operator's privacy and retention practices before connecting.
Voice processing
Microphone audio is processed in memory on the iPhone for speech recognition. Talaria does not upload microphone audio to the publisher or to the selected Hermes gateway. Per-utterance audio buffers are discarded after recognition, cancellation, or failure.
Talaria can download optional speech-recognition and speech-synthesis models from their documented distribution hosts. Download requests disclose ordinary network information, such as the device's IP address, to those hosts under their respective privacy policies.
Analytics, advertising, and tracking
Talaria contains no advertising SDK, analytics SDK, cross-app tracking, or publisher telemetry. The publisher does not sell personal information.
Security
Talaria requires HTTPS for non-local gateway connections. Credentials are stored using the iOS Keychain, and model files with published digests are verified before use where supported.
No transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Users are responsible for the security and availability of the gateways they add.
Children
Talaria is not directed to children. It displays output from a user-selected AI agent, which may not be appropriate for younger users.
Changes
This policy may be updated when Talaria's data handling changes. This page shows the effective date of the current version.
